Attention Surfers–especially old ones–come meet Gordon & Smith tomorrow Saturday morning in PB (5/30 at 07:00)!

Sorry for the late notice, but I just got this in from Mark Gundert of National City Fire and also Captain of the San Diego Firefighters Emerald Society’s Color Guard. For all you Gordon and Smith aficionados: pass the word quickly, grab your G&S boards and head down to Tourmaline tomorrow morning to grab a piece of history! Who: All comers invited What: Party, pictures, autographs, food and drink Where: the Tourmaline Beach area in PB When: Saturday May 30th, 0700 to 1000 hours Why: Just because: Larry Gordon and Floyd Smith the owners of Gordon & Smith Boards will be there and there are rumors that Skip Fry will be there (I don’t know if Donna will be there). I understand that Larry and Floyd will be available for pictures and autographs/posters with you and your Gordon & Smith board(s). Their 50th anniversary is coming up in October, too (they started in 1959). It probably got tossed out like the proverbial baseball card collection when her dad was cleaning the garage years later. Wonder what that board would be worth now or twenty years from now–especially signed by Larry and Floyd!
