Film Forum Coronado: “Mirage”
October 15 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm PDT
FreeCoronado Public Library, in partnership with the Coronado Island Film Festival, presents FILM FORUM CORONADO, taking place the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6 pm in the library’s Winn Room. Film expert Ralph DeLauro provides a brief introduction to each film and leads a discussion afterwards, often including pointers about how lighting or camera angles contribute to a scene’s mood or propel the story.
October 15: Mirage (1965, PG, 108min)
Gregory Peck headlines this tight and twisty puzzle box about a “cost accountant“ with memory gaps who stumbles into a sinister merry-go-round of danger and deception while trying to piece together his past. The top notch supporting cast: Diane Baker, Kevin McCarthy and Walter Matthau.
