Mark your calendar for January 10, 2018!
Who: Coronado Middle School and our partners in education at the Coronado Which Wich restaurant to support 6th Grade Students for camp.
What: The 6th grade class will be attending the annual San Diego County Outdoor Education Camp at Cuyamaca State Park from January 29, 2018 to February 2, 2018. This exciting and educational week-long program provides our students with a variety of hands-on, real life activities and experiences in the Cuyamaca Mountains under the supervision of CMS teachers and the San Diego Outdoor School Camp staff. This once in a lifetime opportunity is often remembered as one of the best middle school experiences. For more information about CMS 6th Grade Camp, please review the link: http://cms.coronadousd.net/activities/sixth-grade-camp/
Where: Which Wich Restaurant in Coronado, 926 Orange Ave
(619) 522-9424 or at: whichwich.com
When: Wednesday, January 10, 2018, all day, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. – 50% of the proceeds from your meal go directly to the 6th grade “Adopt a Camper” program at CMS.
Why: The cost for each child to attend this memorable experience is $380.00. This charge includes the camp registration fee, expert instruction from certificated teachers, food, lodging, insurance, and transportation to and from camp. While many of our student’s families are able to meet this financial requirement, others find that this fee presents a significant hardship. CMS ensures that every student who wants to attend camp has the opportunity to do so, and we truly appreciate the support of our community members!
Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Karin Mellina, M.Ed., Principal
