The championship game will be Saturday, November 28 at 7pm against Crawford at Southwestern College.
After demolishing Tri-City Christian 41-0 last week, the Coronado Islanders (7-4) take on La Jolla Country Day (8-3) this Friday at 7pm (at Niedemeyer Field @ Coronado High School – 650 D Avenue). This is the semi-final matchup for Division V.
Come out to cheer on the Islanders! Tickets are $6 for students and seniors. Everyone else is $9.
Keep your eye on Coronado senior Chris Haas. Chris plays tailback and has rushed for 1,617 yards this season. He is only 107 yards away from breaking the Islander single season rushing record which is 1,723 (held by JT Rogan CHS ’04).
