Adopt A Camper by Eating at “Which Wich” in Coronado on October 7th

Save the date on October 7th, 2015 to eat at Which Wich, at 926 Orange Avenue, to raise money for CMS 6th Grade campers.

Who:

Coronado Middle School and our partners in education at the Coronado “Which Wich” restaurant to support 6th Grade Students for camp

What:

The 6th grade class will be attending the annual San Diego County Outdoor Education Camp at Cuyamaca State Park. This is an intense, weeklong educational program which allows our children to learn about curriculum and concepts connected to real world, hands-on application. This all occurs under the supervision of the CMS 6th grade teachers and the Camp Cuyamaca staff who guide our children in reinforcing subjects that are taught at CMS including; science, mathematics, physical education, the arts and more. Additionally, this is a once and a lifetime opportunity and lifelong memory for many of our children who look back fondly describe this as one of their best middle school experiences. For more information about CMS 6th Grade Camp, please review the link: http://cms.coronadousd.net/activities/sixth-grade-camp/

Where:

“Which Wich” Restaurant in Coronado, 926 Orange Ave, Coronado, CA 92118
(619) 522-9424 or at:

http://www.whichwich.com/

When:

Wednesday October 7, 2015, all day, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. – 50% of the proceeds from your meal go directly to “Adopt a Camper” and the middle school program at CMS.

Why:

The cost of each child to attend camp is $380.00. This charge includes the camp registration fee, expert instruction from certificated teachers, food, lodging, insurance, and transportation to and from camp. While many of our children come from families that are able to meet this financial requirement, part and sometimes all of the $380.00 is a burden to some. Every year in order to make camp a reality for all students, we need the help of our community members.

Again, we appreciate our community partners in education who understand the value of programs like camp which contribute to a priceless Coronado education.

Sincerely,

Jay Marquand, Ph.D. Dennis and Maggie Holland
Principal Proprietors of “Which Wich” in Coronado
