On Tuesday, Nov. 12, Leroy’s Kitchen + Lounge will welcome guests to the island eatery for a five-course celebration of the season’s best bounty. The Harvest Wine Dinner will showcase Executive Chef JC Colón’s global approach to cuisine using an array of locally sourced produce from Suzie’s Farm, and paired with wine from Paso Robles’ Ancient Peaks Winery. This special event will kick off at 6:30 p.m. for $65 per person.
As guests make themselves at home, they will be greeted with the first course, Cured Citrus Salmon, beets and arugula paired with Ancient Peaks’ Sauvignon Blanc. True to Chef Colón’s signature style, the next two courses highlight thoughtful, unique selections: Muscovy Duck Breast with Tahitian squash ravioli paired with a 2011 Merlot and California Lamb Saddle with herb spinach puree and red onion aigre-doux paired with the winery’s acclaimed Oyster Ridge Red. Rounding out the meal, the final savory course will be Braised Short Rib with shell bean puree served with a bold, juicy Cabernet Sauvignon, and a finale of house made Chocolate Ganache with a complex blended red called Renegade.
Leroy’s Kitchen + Lounge is located at 1015 Orange Ave. For more information or to make a reservation, please call (619) 437-6087 or go to: www.leroyskitchenandlounge.com
