Sacred Heart Parish invites the community to “Dancing with Sacred Heart”, a fundraiser that debuts at the Hotel del Coronado Crown Room on Friday, May 9, 2014.
Adapted from a popular television dance contest, Dancing with Sacred Heart features 12 couples who are parishioners, school parents, and teachers competing for awards after an evening of gourmet dining with silent and live auctions.
Following weeks of instruction by Mary Murphy Champion Ballroom Academy, the teams will vie for awards in multiple categories including Best Dance, Most Creative, Judge’s and People’s Choice.
The coveted title of Grand Winner will be awarded that evening to the duo that raises the most sponsorships, a competition that is already taking place online. Visit http://dancingwithsacredheart.weebly.com/ to meet the dance teams, obtain a reservation form, and consider sponsorship opportunities.
