Local resident, Jack Bartoff, submitted the above photo from a recent trip to Florida. He thought these Miami bike corrals were visually pleasing and simple to understand and would stand out around town. Currently, the City of Coronado has set up temporary bike corrals (photo below) at multiple locations to evaluate their usage and impact to downtown Coronado.

Perhaps if permanent bike corrals are installed, the City of Coronado could be inspired to make the corrals in the shape of the Coronado Bridge “legs” with a blue top. Now that we think of it, the eCoronado.com logo could be used as a bike corral. 🙂
