Street Preventive Maintenance Project (aka, Slurry Seal): The City Council awarded a road maintenance project to a contractor in November. Minor work such as crack-filling, striping removal, and dig-out repair operations were underway Thanksgiving week and the following week, while the slurry operations started after recent rain events. The City’s goal is to complete the slurry operation before the Christmas holiday and restore striping and Active Transportation Elements shortly afterward. The slurry schedule is subject to changes due to weather.
