Update (11:02am): Bridge has been reopened and a man was taken into police custody after threatening to jump.
At 7:22 this morning, the Coronado Police Department issued a Nixle alert that the San Diego Coronado Bridge was closed in both directions due to police activity. CPD encourages motorists to use the Silver Strand.
