Last Friday, Coronado’s Boys’ Varsity team went to Point Loma for the second match between the teams this season. The first time they faced each other resulted in an easy win for Coronado, 2-1. Even with several injured players this time, Coronado’s defense played exceptionally, commented Coach Brooks. This defense prevented any scoring from Point Loma. Nic Woods and Juan Martinez each scored one goal, giving Coronado a 2-0 win.
The current season record is seven wins to five losses to four ties.
