Rotary Santa to Make Local Deliveries

Santa Claus is coming to town

Santa Claus will once again make his traditional visit to Coronado homes on Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24 to deliver presents to local girls and boys from 5:00 p.m. to approximately 7:30 p.m.

Assisted by members of the Rotary Club of Coronado and the Coronado Fire Department, Jolly Old St. Nicholas asks parents, grandparents, or guardians to drop off their presents at the Fire Department between Monday, December 5 and Thursday, December 22 during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

All presents must be gift wrapped, and have the child’s name, phone number and address. Should the child’s address be unusual or hard to find, Santa would appreciate any help with directions. Due to the popularity of this program and the shortage of warehouse room, this year Santa has added the following requirements:

  • One gift per child.
  • Gift dimensions and weight requirements: 2’ x 2’ x 2’ and less than 20lbs.
  • Date deadline: Thursday December 22, by 5:00 PM as Santa needs to finalize delivery list and routes.

For more information contact the Fire Department at 619-522-7374 or the Rotary office at 619-435-8334.

The Fire Department is located at 1001 6th Street.
