When I ran for City Council in 2008, I did so to make sure Coronado remained family friendly. After all, that’s why Kathie and I decided to raise our five children here. Having served eight years with that guiding principle, I now want to elect a Council member who shares my values. I have known Whitney Benzian since my first Council campaign. He’s been a mentor and confidant throughout my time in office. He exemplifies the values and experience I want to see in a Council member. I will vote for Whitney Benzian.
