CMS PTO is a great way to keep connected, especially as your child enters a new phase of schooling. We have lots of opportunities to help, donate & get involved throughout the year. Membership starts at the bargain price of $25 and ensures your family is in the all-school directory. Our membership drive continues throughout the school year, however, to make the deadline for the directory please turn in your form to the CMS office no later than Friday September 12th. Membership is our primary fundraiser of the year so definitely consider donating! 100% of what we raise goes back to our school. In fact, at Back to School Night last week, we treated the staff to dinner and gave each teacher a $100 gift card to Target to get necessary supplies for their classrooms. This was invaluable considering the budget crisis our school district is now facing. Teachers were incredibly grateful and appreciative! Please join us for our 1st meeting on Wednesday September 17th @9am in the CMS Library. Normally, our meetings will be the 3rd Thursday of each month (but Thursday September 18th is one of four late start days this year). Our goal is to keep things simple & fun and we definitely welcome any ideas to help support our wonderful teachers & staff at CMS!
We are hoping to reach as many new families as possible, so please spread the word. And, if you’ve haven’t participated before, it’s never too late to join the fun!
