FREE Solar Community Seminar tomorrow, October 24th. The presentation will go over how solar works, rebates and incentives that are available, financing, your individual energy needs and more. Phase I of the Coronado Goes Solar campaign was a huge success and Sullivan Solar Power will continue rewarding residents in Coronado who take part in creating a case study out of our city. The new systems from Phase I of the community discount program will have increased the amount of solar in Coronado by 25%. While the City have made tremendous progress, there is still a great deal of work left in transitioning Coronado into a solar community. In addition to the current state and federal incentives, Sullivan is offering special discounts in Phase II for our neighbors! If more than 70kW (about 20 homes) sign up by 12/1/09, everyone receives an additional 3.75% discount on our systems. It gets better, as discounts get greater when more people sign up. For 100kW sold, everyone who signs up by 12/1/09 will receive a 6.25% discount and for 150kW it goes all the way up to 8.75%. “Phase II of the program is designed to get the City to unite even more around the vision of a 100% Solar Coronado, and to work together toward the larger goal, reaping benefits along the way,” said Daniel Sullivan, Coronado resident and founder of the local firm. Coronado’s Solar Community Seminar takes place tomorrow, Saturday, October 24th at 1PM in the Coronado Community Center’s Abalone Room. Lunch is provided. RSVP is appreciated, but not required. Please bring a copy of your electric bill. We can do this, but we can’t do it without your help. Please support the vision of a solar community by spreading the word to your neighbors. We look forward to seeing you there! Go SOLAR, Coronado.
