Glorietta Bay Inn wanted to celebrate Mother’s Day with Silver Strand Elementary by offering their students an opportunity to write a small essay about why their Mother’s are so speical. The Grand Prize was a free night stay at the Glorietta Bay Inn. Because over 95 letters were written, Glorietta Bay Inn decided to post the letters in the Music Room and have their guests from around the country vote. Holly Ansley – General Manager/Gloreitta Bay Inn and Claudia Ludlow-Gonzales/ Asst. General Manager announced the winners at Silver Strand Elementary on May 8, 2009. The winners below were: · First Grade-Brad Dickson won a weekend get-away at the Glorietta Bay Inn for their Mom. · Second Grade-Kayla Hawn – won a weekend get-away at the Glorietta Bay Inn for their Mom. · Third Grade-Kiara Tungcab – won a weekend get-away at the Glorietta Bay Inn for their Mom.
