POSTPONED: Grand Caribe Shoreline Park Erosion Improvements Workshop

Updated 03/12/2025: The Port of San Diego is postponing the Grand Caribe Shoreline Park erosion improvements project workshop originally scheduled for Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Coronado Cays Yacht Club from 5 until 6:30 p.m. The decision comes out of an abundance of caution due to worsening weather forecasts that indicate heavy rainfall may result in localized flooding, which could impact access to the venue. Â
The Port is working to reschedule the meeting and will announce a new date and time as soon as possible. Â
The Port of San Diego is hosting a workshop on Thursday, March 13, to seek input on Grand Caribe Shoreline Park and erosion improvements. The Port is evaluating nature-based coastal resilience strategies to stabilize the eastern shoreline of the park, maintain public access and preserve existing habitat.
