Forum on The Current State of Public Education in America

On Saturday, July 9th, the Coronado Democratic Club is sponsoring a forum and panel discussion on The Current State of Public Education in America.
Since four of the five seats on the Coronado Unified School District Board of Trustees are on the November ballot, it is important voters know which issues impacting public education are real and which are fictional.
The moderator will be Brian Trotier. Our panelists are Peter Bolland (Southwestern College), Darshana Patel (Board Member, Poway Unified School District), Casey Tanaka (CUSD Faculty Member and current City Council Member), and Jennifer Landry (CUSD Faculty Member and ATC President).
Spread the word to your friends and neighbors, regardless of their politics. This topic is so important that we want as much public participation as possible.
The forum is open to all members of the Coronado community and admission is free. All attendees must bring proof of vaccination. Masks are optional, but welcome. The doors will open at 10:30 am and the forum and panel discussion will begin at 11 am and end by 12:30 pm.
