SoCAL BOYS: No. 3 Coronado Downs Foothill-Orange County

Senior attackman Bobby Braun registered a game-high six points on three goals and three assists to lead No. 3 Coronado to a 15-11 victory over Foothill-Orange County in a Southern California CIF intersectional game Saturday afternoon. Sophomore attackman Kyle Runyon added five points on four goals and an assist, senior middie Jackson Cusick scored four goals and junior middie Kodie Englehart had a goal and an assist to help the Islanders (11-2) stay unbeaten against in-state competition. Junior middie Eddie Vita dished two assists, and junior middie Kevin Seifert, freshman middie George Bailey and sophomore defenseman Curtis Nixon all had a goal to round out the offense for California’s top-ranked team.
