Holiday Luminaria Making
Enjoy the flickering beauty of a hand-crafted luminaria. We will make them and then display at sunset outdoors, admiring with a creamy cup of hot cocoa. Complimentary.
Tamales and Tequila
Join Executive Chef Gabriel Morales as he demonstrates the ancient Mexican art of making homemade green chili and cheese tamales and red chile and meat tamales. Also, discover different varieties and flavors of tequila and how to pair them with homemade tamales. $15
Crepes for Kids
Join our French Chef Patrick Ponsaty for a hands-on crepe-making demonstration featuring pumpkin, strawberries and nutella. $5 per person.
California Dreamin’
Join our certified sommelier on the Cays Patio to taste a flight of California wines paired with California cheeses. $18

Christmas & Christmas Eve in Mistral
Enjoy Mistral’s modern French cuisine while overlooking breathtaking views of the San Diego skyline and Coronado Bay. On Christmas Eve, Chef Patrick Ponsaty will create a special French Christmas prix fixe menu for $48, plus tax, in addition to Mistral’s winter a la carte menu. Reservations are available from 5 to 9 p.m.
Christmas Day Buffet
Join Executive Chef Gabriel Morales for a lavish Christmas Buffet featuring slow-roasted Angus prime rib, grilled Pacific salmon, oven roasted turkey, California Wine Country selections, fresh seafood and sushi, fabulous holiday desserts and endless bubbles. The buffet is available from noon to 4 pm in the Market Cafe. $55 for adults, $25 for children, plus tax and gratuity
New Year’s Eve in Mistral
Visit Mistral to enjoy live entertainment and an exquisite five-course prix fixe menu featuring the best of Chef Patrick Ponsaty’s award-winning modern French cuisine. The cost is $95 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Wine pairings can be added at two tiers: $30 or $60. Reservations are available from 5 to 10 p.m. Children will love the resort’s Kids’ Club, which is available from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. for $80 (including dinner) or $15 an hour.
New Year’s Day Buffet
After a night of festivities, enjoy our New Year’s Day buffet featuring made-to-order omelets and waffles, carved Virginia ham and traditional breakfast favorites. In addition, Executive Chef Gabriel Morales will offer a contemporary take on local favorites, including menudo, homemade tortillas and freshly-made tacos. Buffet available from 10 am to 2 pm. $28 for adults, $14 for children.
