Alexis DelChiaro, co-anchor for KUSI’s Good Morning San Diego television show, will be participating in her first SUPERSEAL Triathlon as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team in Training, and will be hosting a Girls Night Out at Be Styled in Coronado on March 1.
Don’t let the morning show host’s feminine and youthful looks fool you; Alexis intends to raise money and awareness for blood cancers by conquering the 1500 meter swim, cycling 40K, and sprinting through the 10K run at the SuperSeal Triathlon in Coronado on March 18.
“I’m super excited to do something I’ve never thought I could do…a triathlon! Along the way, I’m raising money and awareness to find a cure for blood cancers. There’s no way I can do this alone- I’ll finish the SuperSeal Triathlon as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team in Training. Like my TNT teammates, I’ll raise money to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. That’s where you come in!! I need your love and support along the way so that I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families too!”
Show Alexis your support with this challenging quest and join her for a fun Girls Night Out she’ll be hosting at BE Styled in Coronado on March 1. During the evening, BE Style will be donating 20% of all sales to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
