Firehouse/Police Department Open House! Sunday, October 6th was HOT but there were plenty of people visiting who were out and about and having a great time! Guests explored and learned about all that the city’s public safety has to offer and does!
Coronado CARES was there, right by the hands on CPR demonstrations. Coronado CARES was not only offering up dog treats and people treats, the group was also gathering information on feral cat sightings in the community (a successful trap/neuter/return program was started over a year ago), seeking volunteers for a Kitten Socialization Program (technical term for petting abandoned kitties to help them get adopted) and looking for potential dog Foster Homes. Coronado CARES is an important community resource and continues to seek volunteers.
We snapped LOTS of great photos during the event – View them HERE
