On Wednesday, April 2, from 1- 4PM the Coronado Lawn Bowling Club (CLBC) will host crew members of the USS Coronado on the Coronado Lawn Bowling Green. Club Members, led by Club President, Bernie Roeder, will be on hand to teach them about the game and show them how to play it. The plan is to create some teams and let them play in a mini tournament. In other efforts to support our troops and their families, CLBC members, Hanna Gaupmann and Bob Grobe hosted the Naval Officers’ Spouses Club. The ladies in attendance (pictured) were delighted and most of them plan to return to the green for more lawn bowling and fun.
