Coronado Adult Education Spring 2015 Class Offerings

Coronado Adult Education’s Spring 2015 class schedule begins January 5, 2015. Classes are open to Coronado residents and non-residents. We have a variety of classes this semester, and are pleased to offer the following classes:

New instructor Kyle Sorensen will teach Ballroom Dance, and new instructor George Galdorisi will teach Getting Published Now! Janette Noel will return to teach Drawing for Beginners, and Tracy Petrucci will offer Social Media for Small Business. Coronado High School Ceramics teacher, Eric Rempe, has joined our staff and will teach Adult Education Ceramics. We have Body Sculpting with Renee Cavanaugh. Gina Sorensen will return late in the semester to teach Ballet, and in the meantime Valerie Hall will teach Everyday Yoga. Spanish is Fun I & II will be taught by Lorena Baca. Adult Education also offers Wedding & Event Planning taught by Joan Whalen, Muscle Pump! with Marnie Magnotto, and Mat Pilates with Marena Bronson, Zumba will be taught by Laura Webb. Also, Line Dance with Diane Rojas, Tennis with Allen Levin, Retirement Planning Today taught by Joe Anderson, Beginning & Intermediate Guitar with Roberto Arroyo, Basics of Mosaic Art/Open Studio offered by Kirstin Green. Scott Lienhard will be teaching two new classes: Woodturning, and Guitar Building – Set-Up & Repair while Damaris Gonzalez will teach Knitting.

We also offer ESL classes with Jeanette Price, Men’s 40+ Basketball League led by Greg Johnson, and Senior Aerobics with Karenmarie Barker.

Registration for Spring 2015 starts December 8th, 2014, please check our brochure or website for more information. For further information or to register, please call the Adult Education Service Center at 522-8911, or online. For walk-in registration, hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00am-7:00pm, and Friday 8:00am-4:00pm (closed daily from 11:30am-12:30pm) at the Service Center located at 650 D Avenue.
