So, I was sitting on a bench on Orange near Emerald City and the Candy store. 5 skateboarding came skating by weaving in and out of the pedestrians. Following that two bike riders. I so rarely have the time to just sit, I found it amazing that in just that 5 minutes 7 people were blatantly breaking the law. There was a sign right there, above their heads, stating the illegality of it. Of course, they apparently did not see it or know it. On Orange between 9th and 10th there are no signs except one that face the sidewalk on the corner, and another on the opposite corner.
To say the least it is dangerous and wrong. Our streets are only going to get busier with the guests that came to our city.
Here is my question. Why do we have a law if no one is there to enforce it. Something needs to be done!
