Spreckels Mansion Death Ruled A Suicide

According to the sister of Rebecca Zahau, SD County Coroner will announce a finding of suicide for Zahau tomorrow at its press conference. SD investigators told Zahau’s relatives that their decision was suicide. Zahau’s family disagree and plan to hire a private investigator. Hard to believe, I know. However, I give credit to the County for taking as long as they have in their investigation, not rushing to a decision under public scrutiny, and keeping things close-to-the-vest.
