Coronado Girl Scout Seeks Support for Food Insecure

Emily Mowry with finished Blessings Box

Coronado Gold Award Girl Scout, Emily Mowry, is holding a city-wide food drive to help the food insecure. Her Gold Award project, completed in the summer of 2018, supplies food to the food insecure via a little free food pantry located at the Good Shepherd Ministry Center in El Cajon. The food pantry is even more essential for this community during this worrisome time when the need for food is great. Food donations can be dropped off at 670 Alameda Boulevard, Coronado, in the pink bin outside the gate.

Thank you Coronado for your generosity to those in need. Donations will be taken throughout the summer before she heads off to college.
