What: City of Coronado Candidate Forum
When: Thursday, Oct. 13th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Where: CoSA Auditorium (Coronado High School / 650 D Avenue)
Why: To learn more about the candidates running for mayor and city council
The Coronado Times is sponsoring and hosting a community-wide candidate forum on October 13th. The forum will take place in the evening from 6:30pm to 8:30pm which will allow more Coronado residents to attend. The event will be held in the CoSA Auditorium located at Coronado High School (650 D Avenue).
The forum will include all seven of the mayoral and city council candidates:
- Mayoral Candidates (1 seat): Richard Bailey and Carrie Downey
- City Council Candidates (2 seats): Whitney Benzian, Mike Donovan, Ron Hauser, Marvin Heinze and Derik Mundt
The forum will be moderated by The Coronado Times and will start promptly at 6:30pm. At the end of the evening, there will be light refreshments and attendants will be able to follow up with candidates or pick up candidate handouts in the lobby.
As you prepare to vote on November 8th, we ask that you attend this event to learn more about the candidates, their local platform and how they will make Coronado an even better city.
