Services Scheduled: Dottie Martin – Library Volunteer

DOROTHY “DOTTIE” CHERRY MARTIN

1928 – 2012


CORONADO – Dottie Martin, long-time island resident, and wife of Captain Richard W. Martin USN (Ret), passed away Saturday, May 12, at the age of 83. She was active as a volunteer at the Coronado Public Library and Coronado Hospital for many years, and was a member of American Mensa as well as local poetry and book groups.


Services will be held this Friday, May 18, 4 p.m., at Coronado Christ Episcopal Church, 1114 Ninth Street (at C Avenue). A full obituary on the life of Dottie Martin will follow in the weeks to come. Her husband, sons Rick and Jon, and daughters Cherry and Tracy survive her.
