California Solar Incentives are Dropping!!

Good afternoon! State rebates for solar photovoltaic installations are going to be lowered sooner than we had all expected. If you or your friends have considered going solar, NOW is the time to do so! The CA state rebate levels are going to drop dramatically within the next day or so. In this next trigger step, rebates will be reduced by approximately 29%. With escalating energy rates, installing a solar photovoltaic system is one of the wisest and most responsible investments that can be made in today’s market. The 10-step rebate program was designed in 2007 to last for ten years, with incentive amounts dropping as more and more systems are installed. However, with the overwhelming success that the California Solar Initiative has encountered so far, it is likely that the rebate funds will last only six years. In addition to the state rebates and federal tax incentives, Sullivan Solar Power is offering limited-time community discounts for Coronado residents only. In Phase II of the program, if more than 70kW (about 20 homes) are sold by December 1st everyone receives a 3.75% discount on our systems. Discounts get greater as more people sign up. For 100kW sold, the entire community will receive 6.25% discounts and for 150kW it goes all the way up to 8.75%. There discount rates only last until December 1st.
