Call to Artists Deadline Nov. 30, 2017 for 2018 Annual Night at the Library: Book Alive

FOL Friends of Library logo blueThe Friends of the Coronado Library (FOL) is calling local artists to submit artwork relating to a specific work of literature for inclusion in an exhibition in the 2018 Night at the Library to be held the first Friday in February, February 2, 2018. The exhibition, Book Alive, will be the focus of the FOL annual fundraiser and exhibited throughout the Library.

In order to participate, artists must qualify as one of the following: 1) a resident of Coronado, 2) a property owner in Coronado or 3) an employee in Coronado. Also invited are Coronado High School Alumni Artists. All artwork must be original and the work of the registered applicant. Art is for display only. Each work of art must represent a selected and approved book.

Artists may submit one piece of artwork to display based on space available. If organizers can accept more than one work of art, artists will be contacted. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
