Photos: Nicky Rottens Coronado at 100 Orange Avenue

A few eCoronado.com members enjoyed a couple very large burgers at Coronado’s newest restaurant in town: Nicky Rottens at 100 Orange Avenue. No, we did not attempt to eat the 2.5 pound burger – at least, not this time.

We aren’t going to post the full review, but rather just a few photos to peak your interest. We can say that the food and service received high marks and we’ll be back to try more from their menu. A few other notes:

– It’s currently licensed for 21 and over – no one under 21 is allowed. They are working towards obtaining a license that allows for all ages to enjoy the establishment. Manager Shawn Buckholder said they are committed to making that happen as soon as they can.

– Due to zoning and additional new parking space requirements, there are a few non-dining areas in the restaurant that will host Nicky Rottens merchandise. They shared that they are also working to add dining to these areas when all the necessary requirements are met.

So, enjoy the few photos below and take the time to check out this new Coronado business!

That’s Nicky himself on the left near the outdoor seating. He was working behind the scenes hanging pictures and finishing some of the details.

Great views of Coronado Ferry Landing and the San Diego skyline while you enjoy your food.

Great bar and dining area with plenty of TVs. There is even a jumbo screen that comes down from the ceiling for the ‘big games’.

Servers Sarah Vogl and Alexis Lusitana pose with the restaurant manager, Shawn Burkholder. We thought the service was top notch.

Visit their website to learn more and see their menu.
