Hello, 80% of Christians will abandon their faith when they leave High School. It is a very sad statistic for sure, but not unexpected considering our world and its values. Nothing might be as important as reaching out to the youth who are undoubtedly broken, hurting and in need of love; they are without a doubt the future of our world and future of our Church. At my Church (College Avenue Baptist Church) we desire to see High and Jr. High students come to know God in a real and life-changing way. We seek to love the broken, the hurting students who so desperately need God’s love in their lives. In light of the economy, we know funds are tight, but you have an opportunity to support students at no cost to you.
