School athletics information available on eCoronado.com and new Islander Sports News blog!

I have been a board member of the Islander Sports Foundation (ISF) for two years, and am one of two Directors representing Coronado Middle School sports. I created The Islander Sports News blog as a new dynamic site to help inform our growing number of Coronado student-athletes, and their families, about activities, team fundraisers, presentations, achievements and Coronado Unified School District sport related issues. Content is generated by parents, coaches, ISF Board members, CUSD Board members, school administrators and the many volunteers who submit information to keep our sport programs running smoothly. Now, I will also be posting this information frequently to eCoronado.com, so readers can keep up with school sports and related community-wide school athletics information too! Recent postings on the Islander Sports News blog include information on the ISF sponsored Jack Jenkens “Recruiting Realities” complimentary presentation on 3/23 at 7:30 at the CHS Theater, and progress reports on the installation of the new score board at Green Field. Visit the new site at www.IslanderSportsNews.blogspot.com, and if you have school sports information or photos you’d like posted to the site, please email me at vallesuzette@gmail.com. Go Islanders and Pelicans!
