Coronado’s Liberty Celebration Swim (formerly 4th of July Rough Water Swim) has long been an iconic way to celebrate our nation’s independence. The event will take place on July 5 in Glorietta Bay Park in Coronado.
This open water swim offers a distance for every swimmer and experience level, including:
Set against the iconic backdrop of the Coronado Bridge, the course is nested in the southwest corner of Glorietta Bay Park, where wave, wake, and current impacts are generally low. That makes this race both fun and competitive for a wide range of athletic levels, and especially welcoming for swimmers who are new to the open water scene.
All participants receive a finisher medal, souvenir swim cap, and race t-shirt.
