Concert in the Park: The Suenamis

One of our community’s newest local music groups will take the gazebo stage at Spreckels Park on August 17.
Imagine pumping quarters into the jukebox in a roadside diner along a dark highway, only to hear rock classics obscured by the clatter of dishes and the clang of the pinball machine under stark fluorescent lights. The antidote is hearing great tunes live, played and sung by a group that has the vibe just right — powerful vocals backed by the warmth and energy of a tight, soulful band.
The Suenamis have high energy and a rocking sound, featuring lead singer Sue Shirey. The versatile band also consists of: Robb Huff, Guitar and Vocals; Tricialynn Naval, Keys and Vocals; René Roques, Guitar; Phil Hammett, Bass; and Marty Bastuba on Drums.
