Celebrate Coronado’s Military Hometown Heroes
The community is invited to the Avenue of Heroes ceremony on Saturday, November 1 at 10:30 am in the Coronado Performing Arts Center, located at 650 D Avenue. The event celebrates Coronado’s military “hometown heroes.” 14 service members will be recognized, and inspirational stories will be shared about their military careers. The ceremony is free and open to the public.
At the end of the month, City crews will install banners for each honoree on the light posts along the designated Avenue of Heroes on Third and Fourth Streets.
Doors open at 10 am.
The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided, and complimentary shuttle service will be available for attendees requiring assistance. For additional information, please visit www.coronado.ca.us/aoh.
