Senior attack Jillian Reidy scored a game-high four goals to lead Coronado to a 10-8 victory over No. 9 Torrey Pines in a CIF-San Diego Section game Wednesday. Junior middie Melissa Humphrey added three points on two goals and one assist, and junior middie Anna Turpit had a pair of goals to help the Islanders (7-2) win their third straight. Junior attack Coco O’Brien and sophomore middie Alex Reidy each had a goal to round out the scoring for Coronado. In a losing effort, junior middie Annelysse Eggold finished with a team-high four points on three goals and one assist, sophomore middie Katie Trees had three points on two goals and one assist and sophomore attack Caroline Boucher added a pair of goals for Torrey Pines (2-1). Coronado led 6-4 at halftime, but Torrey Pines came back in the second half to draw even. The game was tied, 8-8, late in the second half when Jillian Reidy scored the go-ahead goal with 2:40 remaining in regulation.
