Thursday, January16th, Coronado Islanders hosted La Jolla High School. The game was very close with no more than a 2-goal differential at any point in the game. The game was tied 4-4 at the half, and 6-6 at the end of the third quarter. Coronado kept pushing for the win in the fourth quarter for a final score of 8-7. Everyone contributed to the win. One goal each from Cassidy Wiley, Mackenzie Wiley, Carolyn Gauvin, and Anna Makridis, two goals each from Katy Gauvin and Jaicey Tyler. Isabella Cuellar and Shannon Spence split time in the goal.
Coronado will play Bishops at the Bishop School next Thursday, January 23rd.
