On Saturday, the Varsity Cross Country team ran in the 45th annual Stanford Invitational meet. This race is 5,000-meters along the school’s golf course, and, although lacking any major hills, it is a tough and grassy path. “Stanford is one of the big meets in California and draws both high school and college teams from all over the state as well as from around the country,” says Coach Green.
