St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of Coronado has welcomed onto staff the Reverend Susan Juergensen, where she will serve as Associate Pastor. Ordained 18 years ago, Pastor Susan received a Bachelor’s degree in the communications field from the University of Evansville in Indiana, and a Master of Divinity degree from Drew Theological Seminary in New Jersey. Pastor Susan grew up in the Los Angeles area, is married to Naval Commander (Ret.) Mark Juergensen, and has two children, Drew (17) and Mara (14) who both attend High Tech High.
St. Paul’s offers two worship services on Sunday mornings; 9:00 is a modern-style worship with a praise band, and 10:30 is a traditional service with a chancel choir. As Associate Pastor, the Reverend Juergensen will help lead worship, and assist in the areas of pastoral care, discipleship, and missions.
