Lacrosse: CHS Boys Defeat Lawrenceville High School 16-11

lacrosseLast Thursday, Coronado’s Boys’ Lacrosse team hosted a preparatory school from New Jersey. Prior to this first game of the season, the lacrosse team had worked hard during the pre-season in lining up their offensive and defensive ends. Thursday’s opponent, however, revealed some weaknesses. “If the boys continue to work hard on those weaknesses with energy and enthusiasm it should be a great year,” says Coach Alex Cade. Senior Nick Demaio led the team on the offensive, scoring a total of nine goals, followed by senior Micah Grim, who scored four. The final score was 16-12 to start the Islanders’ season with a win.

Upcoming Game:

Saturday, March 17 vs. St. Ignatius College Preparatory School at Niedermeyer Field @ 12:00 PM
