New this summer, the Coronado Recreation Department has joined forces with the Coronado Historical Association to host a camp especially for Junior Historians! This new camp combines time-travel, fun and adventure where participants get to explore Coronado and San Diego like a true historian. Based out of the Coronado Museum, this program has campers learning history through field trips, scavenger hunts, artifacts and activities. Under the guidance of trained museum staff, campers will get behind-the-scenes tours of the Hotel del Coronado and other cool local landmarks. Sign up for the Coronado Explorers Camp and as a bonus, your child will receive a one year membership to the Coronado Museum.
Coronado Explorers Camp is being held Monday – Thursday from 9:00am -2:00pm the weeks of June 27-30, July 11-14, July 25 – 28 and August 1-4.
