Coronado, California, November 28, 2015 – Glorietta Bay Inn’s front desk agent, Georgia Kinkead, recently received the statewide “Outstanding Lodging Employee of the Year” award in the small hotels category by the California Hotel & Lodging Association. The award was presented at the Stars of the Industry ceremony at the Weston St. Francis on November 21, 2014. The award ceremony honors hotel employees for their exceptional accomplishments, service, and leadership in the lodging industry.

The Stars of the Industry awards were created more than 40 years ago by the American Hotel & Lodging Association.“Georgia epitomizes what it means to be an outstanding employee. I have never met a woman who is as punctual, personable, and consistently willing to make our guests happy as her. I am certain that without Georgia as part of our team, not only would our employees be as happy, but most importantly our guests,” said Mike Murrell, Assistant General Manager.
