Second Sea Level Rise Virtual Workshop

The City is hosting its second virtual workshop on Coronado’s Sea Level Rise planning process. The City invites the community to attend the workshop via Zoom at 5 pm on April 21 to learn more.

The first step was a Vulnerability Assessment that used a model to evaluate how sea level rise could impact the City over time. A Vulnerability Study was completed and presented to the public last summer. The City recently released the second planning document, the Adaptation Plan, which includes a menu of potential strategies. The meeting will review the Vulnerability Study but focus on the adaptation measures.
