On Tuesday, Dec. 17, the Islander Girls’ Varsity Soccer team hosted University City High School, resulting in a defensive battle on behalf of both teams. University City, being a top Division-II team, had an elevated performance, as they kept pushing on Coronado’s goal. The Islanders’ goalkeeper, sophomore Shelby Linde, played a great defensive game with six total saves. Their opponents’ goalkeeper kept Coronado out of their goal, as well, resulting in 0-0 tie.

The team currently has six wins and two ties, with no losses.

Upcoming Games:
  • Thursday, January 3 vs. La Jolla Country Day School @ 4:30 PM (Away)
  • Saturday, January 5 vs. Westview High School @ 10 AM (Home)
