4Walls International Thanks Coronado and IB for Supporting The Border Impact Bond

4Walls International sends a big “thank you” to Coronado and Imperial Beach for joining them to support scalable solutions to cross-border pollution. Together, $6,426 was raised in just two hours!

From 4Walls International:

City officials from both Coronado and Imperial Beach were joined by legendary pro athletes and olympians… Great food, drink, and people, we could not have asked for a better welcome to Coronado! A very special thank you to Councilmember Benzian and the whole Benzian family for hosting us in their beautiful home, and to Coronado Brewing Company for sponsoring the local brew. It was great to present this concept to you and we are grateful you supported us so strongly!

Want to stay involved and help us reach our fundraising goals? There are still a couple of ways you can help advance The Border Impact Bond.

  • Host a party. The recent success was, in large part, because Councilmember Benzian offered the location, sponsored the food and invited his network. If you pride yourself a party-thrower, want to help us continue fundraising and think your friends should learn about this, we’ll be stoked to bring the beer, music and presentation!
  • Go on a watershed tour. Step into another world to gain perspective on our border’s solid-waste crisis. Tours visit 4Walls projects on both sides of the border, with additional options including wine tasting and food in the incredible Valle de Guadalupe or hidden taco gems in Tijuana… Tickets start at $150 per person and trips are customizable.

Thanks again, Coronado. We look forward to next time!
