Cops and Robbers: Graffiti at Parks on First Street (6/13/18-6/21/18)

Thanks to the Coronado Police Department for providing The Coronado Times with the below information (partial list):

Crimes:

6/19/18: Petty Theft near 1300 block of Ynez Place

Unknown suspect took victim’s bicycle from front porch and fled the scene undetected. The value of the bicycle is approximately $600.

6/17/18-6/18/18: Grand Theft near 200 block of Eighth Street

Unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle and stole personal items from inside the vehicle. The total value of the stolen items is approximately $1,330.

6/16/18: Battery near 2000 block of Mullinex Drive

Victim got involved in a physical altercation with an unknown suspect near the beach area at the location. Victim wishes to prosecute.

6/15/18: Grand Theft near 2000 block of Mullinex Drive

Unknown suspect removed a bag of camera equipment from a locked vehicle. The camera equipment is valued at $13,000.

6/15/18: Grand Theft Property near 1200 block of R.H. Dana Place

Unknown suspect took the victim’s phone from her personal belongings which were left unattended at the beach on a beach chair. The stolen property is valued at approximately $1,300.

6/13/18: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 800 block of First Street

Black, blue, and yellow paint graffiti were found on multiple rocks near the water and on the back of a rusted sign in front of and at Bayview Park. The paint had dried, but it is unknown how long the graffiti had been there.

6/13/18: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 400 block of First Street

Black and red paint graffiti were found on the eastern-most park bench in Harborview Park. The paint did not appear fresh, but it is unknown how long the graffiti had been there.

6/13/18: Burglary near 400 block of Orange Avenue

Unknown suspect removed the victim’s vehicle registration, miscellaneous paperwork, and a tent from their locked vehicle that was parked in an alley behind the location. The stolen property is valued at approximately $50.

6/16/18: Battery on Spouse or Cohabitant – Misdemeanor near 1500 block of Da Nang Drive

22 year old male

6/15/18: Disorderly Conduct Due to Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 500 block of C Avenue

51 year old male

6/15/18: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Drugs – Misdemeanor near 1700 block of Glorietta Plaza

23 year old female
