Topic: Standing Up for Those Who Serve
The Coronado Democratic Club invites the community to its next general meeting on Wednesday, June 25 at the Coronado Library’s Winn Room. Our featured guest will be Will Rodriguez-Kennedy, Defense and Veteran Affairs Field Representative for Congressman Scott Peters.
Rodriguez-Kennedy will speak on “Standing Up for Those Who Serve,” a look into Congressman Peters’ long-standing commitment to our military community. Representing the 50th Congressional District, Rodriguez-Kennedy works directly with servicemembers, veterans, and their families assuring they receive the federal benefits and support they’ve earned. From navigating bureaucratic systems to advocating for stronger protections and services, his work on the ground is a vital extension of Congressman Peters’ efforts in Washington.
Doors open at 6 pm for a brief social gathering, with the program beginning promptly at 6:30 pm. The event is free and open to the public.
