Paddle Out with the Water Summit of San Diego Climate Week

Join the opening ceremony for the Water Summit and San Diego Climate Week with a ceremonial Paddle Out in Glorietta Bay. The event supports Climate Week’s 2025 Call to Action to clean up the Tijuana River Crisis and the 2026 Call to Action to Condemn Off-Shore Drilling.
​4:00-4:15 PM | Sign in, find watercraft, suit up, and sign making
​4:15–4:30 PM Welcome and Action Briefing
​4:30–4:50 PM Paddle Out, Prayer with the Ocean led by Red Earth Movement
​4:50–5:00 PM | Thank you, showers, head to Summit at the Community Center
​BYOB: Bring Your Own Board! A limited number of watercraft will be available for use, costs covered by our generous summit donors: Samuel Lawrence Foundation & WildCoast in partnership with Emerald Keepers. We encourage all those with boards, kayaks, etc. to bring your own.
